Investment objective of a website

Well, what is it that you need to do before you decide to start working on a new website? Try to work out the answers to the following questions. Then, if you wish, we will be happy to discuss the assignment with you. It is our job and we care about the functionality of your website.

Questions of strategy

  • Why do you need a new website and who is it designated for? (Specify the target group in terms of sociology, demographics, interests, etc.)
  • What is the purpose of visiting the website? (For example information search, image building, ordering goods, discussion, making enquiries)
  • How and when are you going to assess whether the investment in the website was successful or not?

Once you have finished considering your strategy, take a look at some more questions. We will be happy to help you answer these. Here they are:

Architecture of a new website

  • What order and structure are you going to use in order to present the information to the website users?
  • Graphics – would you like the image of your new website to correspond with the image of your prints? Have you prepared a logo? Which websites in your profession/industry do you like?
  • Do you want to regularly inform a specific circle of people via the website? (For example to distribute an email newsletter?)
  • Do you plan to enlarge the website in the near future? (For example by a secured part of the website accessible to a certain group of people only?)
  • What interactive elements do you need on the website? (An e-shop, various forms, questionnaires, catalogues, discussions, etc.)
  • Who is going to administer the website/fill it with information? How often?
  • What is going to be the web address?
  • Do you need any other language versions? Which ones?
  • What words or expressions are the most important ones for you? Is it going to be an optimized website?
  • Who are your competitors?
