The advantages and disadvantages of the publication system
The important decision whether the web is to be updated by the supplier or by means of using the publication system is to be made before you start your work.
The question is: Who is going to fill and update the web? How often?

Advantages
- No expenditures for the web sites updating carried out by a supplier
- You are not dependent on the web sites supplier, you can very easily make the changes that need to be made by yourself
- You are not dependent on your computer, the publication system may be run from any computer with the Internet Explorer
- You are not dependent on your office area, the publication system could be used on any place with Internet access
- You are not alone in this, the publication system could be operated by anybody who knows how to use the Internet , MS Office products or products of similar nature
Disadvantages
- The investment in the publication system makes the website more expensive
- On a minimum quantity of modifications, i.e. if just a few modifications are to be made in a year, the investment in the publication system is an inefficient one
- On a great quantity of highly sophisticated modifications, it is inefficient to use the publication system as it is rather time demanding.
